Dr. Geenen treats all adult gastrointestinal disorders with special interest in patients with inflammatory bowel disease, esophageal disorders, pancreatic disease, and prevention of colorectal cancer. He has given a number of lectures on these subjects and has also been invited to speak at national scientific meetings regarding these and other gastrointestinal disorders such as peptic ulcer disease, hepatitis and heartburn. Dr. Geenen has also been involved in writing articles that have appeared in a variety of medical journals. His philosophy is to treat his patients as he would treat his family members. Dr. Geenen recently started seeing patients at West Allis Memorial. He has been with G.I. Associates for over 10 years.
