He is also active in national organizations such as the Publications Committee of the ASGE. Dr. Hernandez has been chosen as one of "The Best Doctors in America." Patient outcomes, endoscopic ultrasound, gastrointestinal cancers, and pancreatic diseases are among his areas of interest. He and his wife, Meg, have two children: Ian and Fiona.
