Dr. Kumar is a board certified Gastroenterologist and Transplant Hepatologist, specializing in the management of liver diseases and care of patients pre- and post liver transplantation. Prior to joining GI Associates, he served as Medical Director of Liver Transplantation and Program Director of the Hepatology subspecialty training program at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, LA.
